Deadline: Ads must be received 10 days prior to publication. Any cancellation must be made 5 days before publication.
Requirements: Ads must be camera ready. Ads that required in-house preparation will be charged a fee of $25-$50, depending on size and detail. No charge for multiple placement.
Billing: Fifty percent down on signing contract; balance due in advance of publication, on day of proofs. Any additional taxes levied by local, state or federal governments will be assessed as cost.
Payment: Check, cash, credit card or money order.
Design: To be approved by advertiser before proofing. Any ad that appears to be written or editorial material must be accompanied by the words “Paid Advertisement.”
Proofs: No more than two page proofs will be sent to advertisers before publication for checking information only and not for changing design.
Tear sheets: Two tear sheets containing the advertisement will be sent to each advertiser after publication.
Liability: ASIA is not responsible for: 1) Changes made over the phone unless they are approved on proof 2) Typographical errors submitted by advertiser 3) Failure to publish due to unforseen circumstances, such as equipment breakdown, postal problems, labor disputes, government actions, strikes, war or any acts beyond the newspaper’s control. ASIA will not be liable for failure to provide advertising space. 4) Content of ad. Advertisers or their agents are fully responsible for content, including claims, photos and published material.
At no time shall the publisher’s liability exceed the cost of the paid advertising space.
ASIA reserves the right to alter any copy or material solely for aesthetic reasons or reasons of space, with the approval of the advertiser. All requests for special placement will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
